vol. 01 - Dancing In Outer Space vol. 11
11 times around the sun in the @spacebeatssoundsystem universe, at the @chippolord planet. We held this event because we just wanted to gather all our friends in one place. The place is located behind Central Park on 115 Regent St, Chippendale NSW 2008.
When you arrive outside, you will notice a decorative window glass of a @stickyfingersband full member. Some say they start their career there before blowing up. One of the bartenders, Chloe, asked why there were so many Indonesians tonight. I said, "We are all Indonesian, lol”. Turns out she is half Indo. Didn’t expect that to be honest.
While there were so many Indo, Chippolord is free to enter for all. We accept everyone. Humans and Aliens are welcome, if using Space Beats jargon. See you on Dancing In Outer Space vol. 12.

I GOT NOWHERE TO GO. So I chose this event. It’s only four train stops from my home. I barely left the house again after finishing my stuff online today lol. In my theory, I need to talk to a human for at least 15 minutes a day so I feel fine. I ended up talking for three hours straight lol.
ANYHOW, I found out about this event through @_maxcherry. The genre is breaks, UKG, garage, speed garage, etc. I was wearing a @tameimpala T-shirt. One person said he really liked mine. Then I saw him wearing a @etjusticepourtous T-shirt. I told him I watched Tame Impala live back in 2022. He said he wasn’t old enough back then to watch them. I said, I’m ** years old. Guess it yourself lol. We just laughed anyway.
I talked with the DJ about the playlist I liked. I told them their playlist was a banger!
The point of this writing? Nothing, I guess lol.

THIS PLACE IS LOUD. I really recommend using earplugs.
I came here tonight because I hadn’t left the house all day. Didn’t even talk to anyone. As an extrovert, I get my energy from talking to whoever I can find lol (sorry Quinn, my shopkeeper near my home, you’re the easiest target).
ANYWAY, I was looking for somewhere to fulfill that need to talk. Lazy Thinking is only eight minutes away from my place. Easy decision. I listened to their tracks first, of course.
The band selection tonight feels like watching MTV on cable TV in the late 2000s. So much hope and spirit. There’s also this dgaf energy I really like.
Thursday night well spent as an inner west baby? I believe so.
